What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy?
"Lifelong Kindergarten Group" philosophy interests me and as I read more about this I hope I can share this kaupapa with the Syndicate.
What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional?
I feel confident (not to confident) about creating an engaging slide for work flow for the children in my class and then allowing them to take a risk aswell and create a slide animation.
What did I learn that could be used with my learners?
What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life?
Maybe focus on accessing a Slide for one reading group or writing group first and then then slowly become the tuakana for the class
Making sure that we can share these slides! This will be a work on as my time with blogger has been a bit hit and miss this week!

Your slides animation is way cool! Tumeke Mel!! :D
ReplyDeleteKia ora Mel,
ReplyDeleteI loved your butterfly animation as well. It is always interesting to hear what part of the day you find helpful, and which parts challenge you. Slides have plenty of scope for use in the junior classroom. Here is a link to Marizaan's class site: https://sites.google.com/waitaracentral.school.nz/waitaracentralschool/home - still a work in progress but she is a whizz at using slides creatively so you might get some ideas. Kia ora Mel,
ReplyDeleteI found out last week that the Lifelong Kindergarten Group were the creators of Scratch! Your animation looks great, I love that the first slide has information on it.
Hei āpōpō!
